Oct 12, 2009 - acting with kamal is a big honour but i think asin wasn't properly utilised in Dasavadharam. she is capable of more. i agree with you that anushka should be the one receiving the best debutant awards instead of asin. even if asin was a real debutant in the hindi 'Ghajini' i still would have said that anushka deserved the BD award wholeheartedly.sorry if i seem like i'm bashing asin but until she breaks the stereotype she is typecast in, my opinion of her being an average actress stands.

Oct 12, 2009 - exactly. asin didn't have any scope to showcase her acting in Ghajini like in almost every single south indian film she's done. asin might be a good actress but she hasn't given any indication that she is one. one thing i dislike about asin is how she always plays the stereotypical bubbly pretty girl in all her films. where is the variety in that?anushka showcased a wide range of emotion in 1 film itself while asin has yet to do so in any of her films.
